Strange rationale for purchase.
GY paying for damages:
GY had to bite the bullet several years ago when they lost out in court. IMO - GY would rather *not* be there again.
Of course - GY WILL compensate you for down time during repairs, right?...:h
IMHO - I've never purchased *any* tire brand that has had a record of failures (ahhhh - "problems"), never had a tire failure or flat either (TTs & 5ths since 1975) - so guess I'll just keep on rolling the (non-GY) dice...:W

Whatever you say.
I believe its well documented, and by now and you should know several things about these tires. The biggest is that the Sailun is proving to be a BETTER tire then Goodyear, and at a far less cost. You having good results from Goodyear does not change the facts about their track record.
You can discount the Sailun, but they are here, and proving to be a great tire. I personally don't want a tire I have to buy insurance for to cover damages, just as soon have a tire that has a BETTER proven track record.
