I was going to suggest Excel as well but now that they are defunct I figured it was no point bring them up.
Buying used orphaned model presents another set of challenges for a newbie

x2 - with a high end used model.....Excel was an excellent high end 5ver, although Petersen Industries is no longer are around.

It's kind of depressing when you can't find the quality that you'd expect when paying big $$.

If $65k is your top, look at nice used higher end units over new entry level. You will get a lot better bang for your buck.

Sort of correct RV's are not very well insulated despite are the marketing Jargon.
RV's are used in moderate temps. 95% of of RV's are not built to withstand Extreme cold.
Northwood Manufacturing- Arctic Fox are known for there well insulated trailers however their floorplans are somewhat limited vs. other makes They cater to a niche market and build quality units. If withstanding extreme cold is your priority. Arctic Fox is your best bet.

Not sure what you want to spend....if DRV $$ didn't bother you, look into New Horizons.....you can customize it.
