One of the screws that holds the plastic "thingy" on the bottom of the string for the blinds pulled out of the wall on our new Cougar. When it was back for some other warranty work the dealer was told to fix it. Well all they did was move the piece over and put a new hole next to the old hole and of course it pulled out again! Now I have two holes in the wall!! Is there a solid fix for this?

Just a thought. Fill the holes with Liquid Nails and allow time to cure. Re-use one of the holes & tint the other to match trim. Like I said, just a thought.

If you have room there use one of these MOLLY BOLTSWhen this is tightened up the back part of the bolt expands out behind the thin trailer wall.If this doesn't work then the only thing left is to install a thick back board first.Roy Ken

the only thing I can think of is to put glue on the screw and put it back in the hole.

A Molly anchor will work,just be very sure you get the correct size that will collapse down to the wall board thickness.The top one shown looks like it would work.

In similar situations for my HR I have used toggle bolts. They are similar to the molly's. I use the smaller sizes. A big box store will have either type.Miles

I would put liquid nail or gorilla glue in the hole. Insert screw an let cure.

I found some hollow door anchors that work well. The kind where you push a plastic insert into a hole and then put a crew into the insert expanding it to hold it in place.

I like this idea!!! Another idea would be to take a wooden toothpick and some glue. Glue the toothpick in the hole and move on. Good luck, John

If you use the hollow wall anchors be sure the screw isn't so large in diameter that it tries to twist the anchor instead of going into it. You might try gluing the anchor into place, let it harden, then insert the screw.

Great idea. You clearly have had some of the same real world experiences with hollow wall anchors that I've had!:)
