Slide binds up coming in

My 17-yo OKanagan fifth wheel has a slide problem.

The big living room slide goes out ok, but not so easy to get back in. After retracting about a foot, it binds up and I have to power the motor an inch at a time to get it past the bind point, which is about a foot long. Rv service is a bit sparse around here or I'd do that.

Any ideas?

I never lube them.. dealer said not to, just keep clean.

A few years ago the bolt that binds the motor to the gear drive broke, and after replacing it I needed to re-align the mechanism so both sides came in equally. Perhaps I'll look at that again. Just kinda difficult when you're alone - I won't have a helper for a couple months.

I'm familiar with the thermal breaker.. that's not it. It behaves as if it's binding.

Could be the reset breaker is getting weak. It takes less power going out than coming in. Is it actually binding, like misaligned, or just stopping for no apparent reason?
