slide out

I'am seasonal with 2 slide outs did it wise to put slide out stabilizers on each slide out even though I have stabilizers under the bumper and steps to stop sway?

just curious,
Thank you.
  • x2 on jacks supporting the frame for best stability. You can get 3 pair of 3k lb jack stands from Harbor Freight for < $200. You'd spend way more than that for stands for 2 slides.

  • I just picture a tire leaking and now all the pressure is on the slideout. I would high;y recommend against it.
  • Stabilize the trailer frame and the rest of the rig will be fine.

  • Carefully read the owners manual. They generally tell you not to use slide supports or goose neck adapters.

Slide out stablilizers are not recommended. Your unit was build with plenty of support for the slide. If you do use a slide out it is very possible that too much pressure be put on the slide and could cause misalignment or other problems.
