Slow kitchen sink drain question....

2015 Keystone Mountaineer, kitchen sink worked fine all weekend. Today while cleaning up the wife says the sink won't drain??? I first drained all the gray water then checked the other sinks.... all good.

Under the kitchen sink it's very easy to un-hook the trap and dump it out. That seemed to help just a bit but still very slow to drain. Any ideas, I was thinking in-hook the trap again and run something down the pipe. There must be a clog somewhere.

    Yep, my first thought was trap...Second thought was vent. After those two check out I'd get out the snake. Good luck!

    DO you have 2 grey tanks??

    A grey tank for bathroom shower and sink
    AND
    A 'galley' tank for kitchen sink???

    Separate drain valve..........look under/behind/around trailer wheels.


    Galley tank is full.

    Just a stupid thought ----- our first trip we had kitchen sink on our Keystone Alpine back up. There were 2 greywater drains in the water monitor area. One next to blackwater drain (shower) and one on right side panel (kitchen) by hatch opening. Monitor panel has grey 1 and grey 2.

    Only one grey tank, we've had this out several times with no problems.Some have said check the vent. What am I looking for, is this on the roof??

    I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but . . .

    You have 93 gallons of gray capacity. 99% sure that is 2 tanks. Check for another dump valve. My Laredo had 2. Only way to get that much capacity is 2 tanks.

    Also, it may be a one way valve or diaphragm that did not reopen--it is in the drain line under the sink. We had that problem last week. At first we thought it might be a full gray water tank too. It was not. Good luck.

    OP stated he had 'P' trap.

    You referenced a one way valve........are you saying you don't have a 'P' trap but a bladder valve trap known as a Hepv0 (self sealing waste valve)

    Ah, good catch, Old Biscuit. Yep, that's what I have. Disregard my earlier answer, OP :-).
