small crack in bathtub

not sure where to post this so i'll start here. i have what looks like a small crack in my bathtub. havent noticed any leakage but i would like to patch it. i would like some suggestion on what to use. i have no idea.
  • JB weld water proof putty. Mash some up and spread it over the crack. Works great.
  • I did mine with epoxy resin and I scratched the surface and put a thin layer on and let it set, then added another wet coat and laid down fiberglass material and soaked in on with more resin. when done I put styrofoam to fill all the space, and put all pack together, never leaked again. BY the way I did this from the bottom side
  • Suggest something like this. I used this for a reapair using only the epoxy and no glass mat.
    Bathtub repair kit
You should drill a hole at the end of the crack to prevent it from running any further.
