Sold Our Fifth Wheel

I felt obligated to pass on how much I learned from this forum. In June of 2015 we sold our fifth wheel and moved into a new home in Florida. The person who bought our unit is a nice guy and we gave him a good deal. Bottom line, he is happy, and we are happy. 8 years of RVing was a lot of fun. So I guess I am just sort of signing off. Thanks again.

Congratulations and have fun.... I'm still a decade or more from retirement and am looking forward to getting out and seeing the country. However, I'm sure the day will come when I grow tired of hitching, un-hitching, draining tanks, fixing things and all the other things that come with RVing.

I think what you've done is similar to others I've met. A couple of fellows I golf with used to be in our campground, but sold their RVs and bought a condo in the same area. They just got tired of hauling it while others just leave their RV in the area over the spring/summer and have it set up on their site when they return in the fall/winter.
