Spare Tire Lift VM

I recently had the same problem on my 2004 Carriage Cameo with what sounds like the same hoist system you describe for your rig. I was able to get a direct replacement from Troy Engineering Components and Assemblies (TECA). They are very nice to deal with and if you have your defective hoist in hand when you talk to them, they will send you just what you need. It bolted in directly after I accessed the underbelly by loosening a few screws to spread a gap in the cloth which you must have already done if your hoist is at a shop.

TECA illustration might be what I'm looking for, Carriage handle access is through the rear basement compartment. The few local RV parts dealers with any hoists have units set up for access from the side.

Currently have local fabrication shop attempting to repair original unit.
