Spring Time Travel, Northern or Southern Route?
Hello,
Our names are Bob and Patti, we've been 5th wheeling for 4 years locally and have plans to travel around the country starting from AZ to TN to NY then across the northern states (I-90), i.e. WI, SD, MT, CA, back to AZ.
We are planning to start this trip at the end of this month (May) across the southern states. (I-40).
Based on the recent disaster's caused by tornadoes in the south, our big question is to ask the experienced RV'rs is, 1. Should we postpone the trip to a later time?
2. Reverse the trip by heading north first and come back the southern route during the heat of the summer?
3. Don't be so paranoid and drive cautiously?
