jt strongarms had them on 2 trailers. it never moved once tightened . I think I used 5/8 self taping bolts and a impact gun to install. went thru the frame in no time

I've only used JT Strongarms and only on one rig but I love them. I have had to use the kin pin tripod since I installed the Stronarms.

I assume you have NOT needed the king pin tripod since the JT’s.

I know my JT’s are awesome, 5er is very stable once set.

Very happy with the JT Strongarms, would buy them again. Great bang for the buck.

My KZ has factory-installed JTs, and I love them. Frankly, though, with the 4-pt leveling, it's so much more stable than my old Komfort, there's times I've forgotten to tighten the JTs and I won't notice it right away. :B

I've had JT StrongArm knockoffs and the SteadyFast system. The SteadyFast system is my preference:
- it performs equally as well (if not slightly better)
- it only has 3 bars to tighten
- its knobs are easier on the hands

I've had both products (2 5ers) and also prefer the SteadyFast system. I felt like both perform about the same, but SteadyFast was easier to install and is easier to tighten/loosen. With the JT's, I had to add some structural members due the mounting location. But that would not have been the case with the SteadyFast on that same rig.

Now, if you cared about the source at all, keep in mind JT's are a Lippert product and SteadyFast are built in a small shop by a privately held small business.

JT Strongarms are company that Lippert bought, they are not a Lippert designed product.

When I bought my JT Strongarms they were built "by a privately held small business."

And what that really has to do with anything is anybody's guess.

I also bought them before they were owned by Lippert, but it's my understanding that they've "economized" the product...which probably is not an improvement.

I honestly couldn't care less if you buy from a billion dollar conglomerate or a small mom and pop store. I'm not a small business, made in the US, buy local fan boy. But considering the beating that Lippert takes on forums like this, it is worth pointing out who owns them.

FWIW, I hope that one day some giant company buys me out. I won't even ask them how they intend on treating my employees and customers...just make the check out to....

We have had our JT's for many years. Both brands seem to be the same. How any way to tighten the other product that would be easier than our Jt's makes me thing how much easier than it can be. Great products.
