sun glasses for rear view camera

I installed a rear view camera on the front wall of the bed of my truck so I could see the height of the king pin in relation to the 5th wheel hitch. It seemed like a good idea until I turned it on and tried to use it. It was so bright behind the hitch that I could not see top of the hitch. I even considered putting a light in the bed under the cover so I could see the hitch.
My wife always watches for the king pin to be the right height but has a perception problem. The pin always turns out to be too high or too low. I thought I could just use my remote to raise and lower the camper until it was the right height while I was in the drivers seat......

Go to a photo store (a real one, not a picture counter at Walgreens) and get a simple polarized filer. Tape it in position over the lens. If it is too dark on the first try, rotate the filter 90 degrees.

With my tri fold cover I can't see my hitch so I mounted a camera on the end fold when the cover is folded up. Mine works great.
This what I have. I didn't pay that. Got it when it was on sale.
