Traded my 2006 RAM 2500 or a 2017 with the factory “puck” system. Purchased the “picture frame adaptor from RAM, and mounted my Pullright on it. On the 2006, I used the “industry standard “ rails for the hitch. The picture frame adaptor on the 2017 is about the same height off the floor as the rails were in the 2006. The 2017 is a 4x4 so it is a little higher overall, but I find the rails and the adaptor about the same. No problems here. Good luck.
