Survey: How often do you chock your wheels?

I was in a campground in Kansas that was as flat as a billiard table, and my neighbor had all four trailer wheels chocked front and back. I thought this was overkill and it prompted my to ask this question: When do you chock your wheels?

a) Every time without fail
b) Only if I am parked on a noticeable slope
c) Never

Personally, my answer is b.

I would think you would want the wheels locked when hooking up at least.

Before we unhitch, every time. One side with plastic wedge chocks, then X-chocks on both sides after we unhitch.

I never chock in my own driveway storage, which is close to perfectly level (but it does drain, so not perfectly level).

There has been a time or two on very level campsites that I have not chocked, but it is pretty rare for me. I think even a good wind is a good reason to be chocked.

I'll do it if I'm on a slope for sure. If it's flat I don't really see the point since the landing gear and the rear stabilizer jacks are both on the ground. Attached to the truck...it's have to be a heck of a slope for me to to above and beyond the parking brake on the truck.

a) Every time without fail

IF I am planning on unhooking. But I only use 4 chocks, 2 on each side.

If not unhooking, I do not chock.

We always chock the wheels whenever the trailer isn't connected to the TV.

Always at least one side both sides when staying put for a while helps with trailer movement from moving around in the trailer if you use the kind that goes between the wheels and wont let them move
