Survey: How often do you chock your wheels?

I was in a campground in Kansas that was as flat as a billiard table, and my neighbor had all four trailer wheels chocked front and back. I thought this was overkill and it prompted my to ask this question: When do you chock your wheels?

a) Every time without fail
b) Only if I am parked on a noticeable slope
c) Never

Personally, my answer is b.

I have only chocked my Trailer Tires one Time. The trailer came loose from the Hitch when pulling up a steep Driveway. I chocked the Wheels to prevent disaster.
God Bless!

I chock every time I unhook... For the time it takes to do so , it's NOT WORTH the chance..

At a very early age of camping , I took a short cut and did not chock on a mostly flat site.. while hooking back up , the trailer slid backwards , off the blocks on the front landing gear .and on the wet grass ,as the pin was a bit lower.. That was an eye opener for me..
No damage ,just to my ego...

Every time before unhitching and we do not remove the back chock until after the pull test is completed after hitching. We have the big orange chocks, not the little yellow ones and only chock on one side.

A, we chock them every time we park the FW, even on the RV pad next to the house. A few years ago we had a neighbor who parked his FW next to his house with no chocks and the wind came up, twice, and pushed his FW off the blocks on the front jacks when the wind hit from the side. I think he chocked the wheels after that. When he got a new FW, he moved it back beside the house so the wind wouldn't get it. Maybe also because our HOA rules say a RV cannot extend in front of the house and his wife was the President of the HOA in our development.

While in storage, and when on a slope! The X chocks between the wheels are pretty much useless when the coach is leveled and weight is off the wheels!

I always chock now. Reason: We were parked in Kansas on a very level and flat Rv Site, I did not chock thinking why?? That night, we has a storm and the winds were pretty stout. They came directly from the front of the RV. The RV moved backwards about 3 feet from the wind. From now on, I chock just thinking thinking back to this experience.
