I had a TV that had a "ghost" in it. It would turn itself on in the middle of the night, or after we had gone out for the day. Turned out the "ghost" was a loose wire connection in the ground fault adapter in the bathroom that also controlled the circuit that the TV was on. Tightened up the connection and our "ghost" found a new home somewhere. :)
