Medicare doesn't cover Canada (with a few exceptions), but your supplement might. Have to read the coverage details.

The last time I checked (years ago) my health insurance was good in canada. Judging by the question that must not always be that way. Maybe I should check again.

I have bought short-term medical insurance for out-of-country travel from them in the past. But, I've never had to use it, so can't say how well it works when needed.
