I finally gave up on my TireMinder system this last weekend, pulling my car hauler. after 40 miles I only got 3 sensors active, and 1 never moved on its reported pressure or temp, and temp was 91 while the air temp was only 78. (I had replaced the tires and valve stems at thanksgiving)
I had replaced the sensor batteries at xmas time.
I want to be able to turn off the trailer sensor detection while I am away from it, and still monitor the dually tires.
so I got two 507 systems. 6 + 4 for the 5th wheel, and 4 for the car hauler. two monitors. one will be setup for the dually and 5th wheel,
and one for the dually and car hauler.
then I don't have any reprogramming to do to switch trailers.
and I can turn off the trailer detection when I am away from the trailers.
and TST detects the trailer sensors without moving, so I can get a reading soon..and keep the tst monitors plugged in all the time when in use.
on the TireMinder, I lost a trailer tire before the sensor reported and was 16 miles from home.
TST had a sale + 10% + extra year of warranty thru yesterday.. $728 for all the above.
