I agree. E rated tires should be more than sufficient for your rig. If you had 110 psi rims and wanted overkill, you could go to G rated but they are expensive and you don't need it unless you are WAY overloaded.
Your problem was towmax tires, and yes, I had them and had issues as did others I know.
