So I am getting closer to upgrade from the tent camping. I have a rental house that I am going to sell so we can have the funds for the upgrade. I am looking into a toyhauler for the motorcycle so that way we can toy the jetskis and take the motorcycle too. I like the idea of having a seperate are for i dont want the fuel fumes or the dirtyness of bringing the bike in the living area. Ilike the idea I could store the jetskis in the toy hauler in the winter. o in due of my needs what style would you suggest. Seems the rv would sit to low and long to go up and down boat ramps. Unless someone knows of such a unit that would work. A fifth wheel maybe? I have 25,000 for truck and trailer or 25,000 for rv. Any suggestions or some leads. it will be a rather long process to find the right one. IVe looked at 400 on craigslist

no problem thanks for the help. I havent seen anyone launch a boat or jetski from the ramps besides trucks. Thats my only concern. Guess once i find the right one to buy I have to verify it before the big purchase. Hopefully Ill get the house sold soon. Its starting to really itch on me

I'm a little slow so it took me a minute. OP I believe you are looking for something like a Fun Mover or Coachman Freedom. These are Class C toyhaulers. Thor Outlaw is a Class A example. I've seen folks launch with motorhomes before, but you would probably know more about that. If you only have a bike (no quads, rzr, etc), these sound like a better idea than towing the skis behind a 5er.

Taylor2000, have you found a solution?...If not, I would seriously consider looking at the Newmar 3920 toy hauler motorhome (new or used). Newmar is an excellent company and they make a quality product. If your budget would allow a “new” coach, the 2014 3921 has some excellent features not found in the 3920. I have a 2013 3920 but am considering the 3921 to resolve a “show stopper” we had on the custom order 3920. My family and I looked at a 3921 yesterday to confirm the new floorplan was as advertised. If you are serious about the 3920 or 3921 let me know and I can share with you our experience and opinions.
Sincerely,
David Schultz

When I was discussing boat ramps I was talking about rv type haulers the ones you drive. They are long and low so they wouldnt go down a boat ramp very well. Im assuming there wider too so be even tougher backing down a boat ramp to put the skis in the water. Rv type toyhauler I was referring too.

Sorry i confused you. I have a motorcycle with no trailer. A set of jet skis with a jet ski trailer. i would like to take all to the lake. So I would have to tow the skis with the jetski trailer behind a 5th wheel trailer. So a 5th wheel camper/aka toy hauler is only way to go since ill be pulling the extra trailer right? bumper pull toy hauler wont work. it wouldnt support the jet ski trailer to the location.

Im confused about what you're trying to accomplish here. You're looking for a toyhauler that you can hook another jet ski trailer to? Im not sure you'll find one with a bumper strong enough to pull that off. And why do you want to back the toy hauler down a boat ramp? Unhook the TH then hook up the ski trailer and launch.

I have a KZ MXT 301 with a separate garage area and its great

http://towingworld.com/towinglawsbystate.cfm?state2=KS its legal to tow with bumper hitches. last vehicle must have axle brakes. But either way that would not be a fun experience. Im still looking for a 5th wheel toy hauler I think. So I can take jetskis too.

Thanks for the reply and help. So the travel trailer type, are they strong enought to hook up a jetski trailer? The 5th wheel ones are usually designed for it but uncertain about the other type. We have jetskis that we like to take and they are on a lite trailer.

You may have an issue putting a 2nd trailer behind a bumper hitch. In my state that would be illegal. In MN as in most states there is a length limit (?70') but it has to be a 5th wheel and bumper behind that. Lots of good info on tow and trailer combinations here.

What about tags? Im assuming the more weight dry means more money? I just do not have any other rv owner buddies. I have alot to learn here.

Do they make a rv type with the cargo area like that? It might be easier to tow a trailer that way? But problem im having with the RVs they all are to long and to low and will have problems going down a boat ramp.

Thanks for the reply and help. I look at them by google they are very nice. I hope they have older units for they look expensive. But they look like that what I need. So the travel trailer type, are they strong enought to hook up a jetski trailer? The 5th wheel ones are usually designed for it but uncertain about the other type. Hi we have had 2 Heartland THers. One was a 5vr Roadwarrior and currently a Torque 261.
The Torque is a bumper pull has a slide out and a separate garage. We have pulled it around 12,000 miles the last 2 years. It works great for 2 bikes. We are happy with it. So check them
out. Bob
