Be careful on what you are saying there Buck-a-roos. Milo has a HD and just might have a payload and GCVW that is more than your chest thumping "3/4" ton trucks. Also, with it being a 2013 it has anti-sway sensors that will activate each brake individually should the truck sense it and his brakes are bigger than many of the "3/4" and "1" ton trucks of just a few years earlier.
Like he says, unless you have ridden or driven one properly setup, you just don't know or will not understand!
Well, you have to give it to me that I allowed that perhaps "he is within limits". He says he is, so as for me, I'll take him at his word that he is. Like I said, at least he took it to the scales. So many don't.
As to the "3/4 ton chest thumping"......well, not me. Two trucks here, my "little" 1/2 ton Frontier as a daily driver and puller of small stuff.
But for the bigger horse trailer, we have a F350 dually. I just don't see the point in 3/4 ton, or for that matter 1 ton SRW. When I "needed" more than a 1/2 ton, to my mind getting a dually was a no brainer. More stable, more reserve, and essentially the same ride quality as a 3/4 ton. Price is not much more than 3/4T.
Sorry to disappoint you, but no chest thumping here. More like, "right tool for the job".
I let my daily results do the talking. Chest thumping is for teenagers. I was a teenager once....man, it was a "long" time ago.
