Under belly diagram

How could I find out the lay out in the under belly of my 2015 Forest River Sierra. I would like to know where things are located before I open it up to add some winterizing product, (Heat trace, tank pads, etc)

Any assistance would be appreciated.
  • You might be able to get a diagram from the Factory but considering the mass production some lines and wiring may be laid differently. Once you open it up you will know the layout of everything on your camper.

I've tried getting schematics on plumbing from 2 different mfrs and they just laughed at me. In any event, no matter what the schematics say, it's going to be built the way the guys on the line =think= it should be done, and that's likely to change from day-to-day. I did talk to a service tech one time and he said that the gross plans are pretty well stuck to, i.e. tanks and major plumbing are where they are supposed to be, but small lines and wiring can be any where. Only real way to know is to pull the belly covering off and look for yourself.

  • I don't know where you bought your trailer, but a couple dozen donuts or a case of iced down beer goes along way when trying to get info like that from the service manager or the top service guy.

I called Jayco and asked for plumbing, 12 volt wiring, 120 volt wiring, fresh water and drain schematics and got them all. No questions asked.

Of course actual layout and schematics are two different things.

No kidding!? When? Who did you speak with? Person I spoke with sounded indignant that I'd even ask that.
