We are looking to upgrade to a bigger 5th wheel and the wife found a Durango D355rl by EZ –RV that she likes the floor plan. I have looked it over as far ease of setup and tear down goes and of course the dump controls and water hookup all which look OK. I have been searching the internet for reviews but can’t seem to find anything on the good the bad and the ugly. I thought that I would turn to RV.net and see what your thoughts are? I appreciate any info you have. Thanks

There are two things that I would not like, but one never finds everything to their liking. One was already mentioned, access to the bath with the slides in. At my age I want to get to the bath without opening the slides. Another is the recliners being at the side of the television. My unit is like that and when we park for the winter we switch the divan and recliner positions. Have to move them back to close the slide. Another similar floor plan is offered by Heartland RV and also by a few other manufactures. Check out these. http://www.heartlandrvs.com/index.php?p=35&c=fifthwheels&sc=BC

..Looks like a nice set up, GVW of 13,000#, not too heavy and the floor plan does look nice. Only thing I saw, "IF" you ever would think to use the unit while on the road, it appears the bathroom is blocked by the bedroom slide when slides are in...no big deal, but some, like me, like to be able to access everything with all slides in. Can't give you a review on the unit, sorry, but it does look like a very nice 5er....
