Water heater for 2016 eclipse attitude 27sa toy hauler

I hope someone could help me . I have a 2016 eclipse attitude toy hauler 27sa . It just got out of warranty a couple months ago and I just hooked up for the first time for full hookups. The water heater will not stay lit . When I turn it on it ignites and stays lit for about 4 or 5 seconds and then turns off... I've bled the lines and also made sure the sensor inside is in the flame so it knows it's igniting .. I've had very knowledgeable mechanics who I camp with take a look at it and can't seem to figure out the problem .. I'm hoping it's an easy fix like maybe replacing a part that maybe someone else has had this same problem ... any help would be apppreciated .. thanks

Lift the lever on the pressure relief valve on the water heater tank. If air comes out, hold it open until water comes out. If water comes out, you're good to go.
  • Have you checked that you have full gas pressure at the WH? It could be a bad LP regular unless all of your other LP appliances are working properly. It still might be worth checking.
  • Tank full or not would NOT have ANY affect on propane (or electric) operating.

Spark electrode firing, main flame lighting off and then going out within 4-5 seconds is due to lack of 'flame proofing'

    Spark electrode engulfed in flame
    Spark electrode gap 1/8"
    Spark electrode clean---no carbon/soot
Spark electrode ceramic not crack...tracking to ground
Spark electrode assembly ground screw clean connection & tight
Spark electrode High Voltage wire connection clean & tight

IF above all checked and good..then circuit board proving circuit bad....new board

    Cheapest solution
Fire it up at night and watch for tracking to ground on ceramic insulator --if OK
Remove spark electrode assembly....clean everything up and reinstall

    Still flame out
    New electrode....still flame out
    New board

It's all about the spark electrode and flame proving signal
