Water Stain Removal

We had a leak in the top of one of our slides after a driving rain storm. It has since been repaired. :h Left with stains in the fabric as shown. I need some ideas of how the best way to remove these stains. Any suggestions would be helpful.

  • There was no photo but I'm wondering if Oxyclean would work?
  • Try Folex. Let it sit for a couple minutes and blot it with a clean cloth. Might take a coupke of times depending on the stain. I use it for all my laundry stains. Avaliable at HD
  • Spray Oxyclean and hot water on the stain, let sit for a minute. Use the upholstery head on a carpet extraction machine to pull out the wet mixture. Brushing the stain lightly might work.
  • Folex, spray it on and BLOT..do not rub.It may take a time or two but it got out my stain.
  • I've never tried this, but a local RV dealer told me they use a mixture of 50% water and 50% clorox to remove these types of stains. You might try this on a small spot if the other methods fail.

I HAVE tried this method, and It is the most effective of all the other solutions, including oxyclean. Just cover everything underneath with a tarp.
