I was walking down the street of our RV park and saw a DRV Full House toy hauler. I'd never heard of one of these before so I looked it up on the web. How wrong I was. It's not a toy hauler, it's a Luxury Asset Hauler.

They mock our rigs us:tricycle, them : sportbike; us: push cart, them: ATV; us: carry our own clubs, them golf cart.

I'm depressed.

I think I'll go out and ride my tricycle for a while.

"Ours - Theirs" is an advertising gimmick that's been around for a long time.

I just did a very quick Google search Ours vs Theirs, a lot came up. Here's a couple.

Dog Steps?

Basketball one-on-one?

Here's a pretty good "reversal" of the Ours vs Theirs:

Jewlery?

Anything to get someone to part with their money?

And you know? You can even create your own:

I can tell you im not jealous, if I had the money I would certainly be out shopping for one. Even though some things may look to be the same as my trailer im certain there have to be many other more superior parts.

Never thought you were jealous, though clear some are.

LOL about the SRW - I'm sure one or both of the dealers told him it was just fine.

I didn't post this because I was jealous. On the contrary, just looking at the way their website is marketing their product by putting down our rigs, I'd never consider them. They can't make the case that what they have is superior (therefore we should buy it), they just attack ours.

The rig that's in our park came in behind a SRW Ram. I'm pretty sure that Ram is way over GVWR with that thing behind it.

Higher end options are filtering down to more mainstream campers. Who have thought you could find a triple slide with a dry bath, 3 televisions and a fireplace in a camper that fits on the back of a truck a few years ago.

There are styles and trim I would not take out boondocking due to the delicate interiors, but I would feel just fine in that same unit at a RV resort which has a pond and fountain outside my paved pad doorway. I feel the same way about my base level trim in my 4wd truck - I may have chosen a fancier interior for our wagon, but I don't take it out on unpaved roads or even in slushy snow.

Same exact shower that is in my cheap keystone carbon, I will admit it was a selling point for me.

Frankly I think it's great, love seeing more high end units out there. Out of my price range but if they will build a higher quality unit more likely that filters down to the other brands too.

The website posted has a copyright date from 2014. This particular unit has paused production a couple of times over the years. Here is the current Full House Website

Seeing brands like Sony and Sea-Trac installed is a lot better then some junk stereo nobody ever heard of or the normal cheap level monitors.

And this shower, well not the one I've see in most brands.

Yet the shower looks like the same one used in my cheap keystone trailer, as I would also bet a lot of other things in are.

I get the feeling it's one of those "If you have to ask how heavy it is, you can't tow it" trailers. 3 x 8000 lb axles plus I'm assuming 4-6k pin weight could push that to 30k gvw territory. That's one heavy trailer. I think the irony is that to tow it with one of the regular big 3 trucks and not a medium duty, you would need to have a regular cab dually with very few options taking away your payload. Max payload for the Ram that can tow 32100 lbs is 6578 lbs. Not very luxurious.
I'm done. This isn't a place to be helpful. It's a place where curmudgeons with a superiority complex will nit pick everything. If you want help, go elsewhere. Admin, delete my account please.

Believe it or not, there are a bunch of us out here who have no interest in anything like that. JS

WOW nice rig, I didn't see what it weighed, I'm guessing 16,000 empty, and what would you tow it with, we have a 15,000 (empty) toy hauler and it pushed our 7000 pound dodge diesel down to road, we now pull it with an Freightliner FL-60 Sport Chassis, I couldn't even think of a 1 ton dually being enough truck for that monster

I bet 20,000 empty, still only holds 100 gal of water, thats odd.

Beautiful Luxury Hauler, i love it.

Joe,
It's all about the $$$$$$!!!
Us 'po-folks' still have a GREAT time with our RV enjoyments!!
(Sure, a 42' DP with the bells and whistles would be fun, but...
for us, the $$$ in the bank and our rig with all of the necessaries (but not much of the bling) is just fine.))
