We went to the zoo!

I was suppose to meet up with MPoulsen and a bunch of others at Dove springs but my daughters dance teacher scheduled a Dance comp This memorial weekend...WTF!!! My daughter was even like dad...DAD!! let's go to dove springs, but she made a commitment to be on the dance team so we have no choice and couldn't ditch out on it. We headed out to Manhatan beach Friday where we got a spot at the residence inn hung out and Went to the movies and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. Saturday Am dance competition was in Redondo beach. I traded in my Polaris swag for my Dance dad Tee.....

Got a text from our friends from way up north (San fransico area) that they were in Gorman with there brand new 37' Genesis - we made it up after heading back home in that LA traffic. Holy **** jay Gorman was packed it was stooooooooooooopid. So stupid some Random people with no common courtesy pulled right next to my buddy literally 3 feet from his new 5th wheel - pulled all the kids rat rod looking quads off the trailer and there brand new RZR and blocked my buddy from even moving his RZR. guys riding the quad track the wrong way rangers flying up and down all day, someone got airlifted right next to the camp, kids double riding on quads one with a helmet one without, saw some people riding side x sides with no helmets, saw a guy roll his quad I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot more.

1 quad 10 friends 4 girl friends about 7 kids and a cooler full of beer. Close to LA quick and easy.

Yup! But friends were down so we went to hang out. We like the desert because it weeds them all out.

Good on you for continuing the good parenting. Feel bad for your buddy who drove all that way, only to have to deal with the crowds and idiots. Hope you had a good time.

Nice work teaching your daughter to stick with her commitments. It's a tough lesson.

I have friends who were at Goreman and their updates over the weekend sounded pretty crazy. Too many fools.
