weight creep.....

So.... pulled out the CAT scale historical data.. the review
indicates, like many here, we are putting on the pounds...

caveat: added low profile AC, took out dinette and chairs, replaced with futon, removed hide-a-bed sofa, added wall mount and flat screen to bedroom. carry fishing tackle ("just in case"), carry Craftsman compressor. Try to be selective about what we "can't get by without" but is the never ending struggle.

I thought we had done better then the numbers indicate.

Shared with bride.... not impressed.

how is your record ? I'm betting these numbers are in the "typical" ballpark.

forgot to mention... some of this is due to my belly. :o

Mar 2013 19880 lbs.
Jan 2016 19900 lbs.

    Just one point of reference: Dry weight is the weight at the factory. Once you live in the rig it is no longer dry.

    WE FTd for 7 yrs.

    Went across scales every year

    Truck weight didn't change as same old stuff was always in it
    5vr weight fluctuated 300# depending on whether it has been shopping day or not
    Heaviest was 1st year then we FINALLY understood LESS is MORE and invoked the concept of 1 bag in---2 bags out

    Truck....7980#
    5vr 13,875# (heaviest)

    Well, just like S&B always adding the little things. I was surprised at how little ours gained after four months of Hosting this year and living in it full time.
    Our total GCVW is right around 19,000 to 19'500 one of these days we will get to 20,000#

    Dewey !! now that's funny stuff. :B

    ...unfortunately, I suffer from Dunlap's disease... my belly dun lapped over my belt. Incurable...as long as I like to eat as much as I do. :o
