That size and weight fifth wheel KZ Durango Gold G359RET that you are considering is fine for the truck you have. I noticed the trailer GVWR only allows you to have approx. 3k payload, consider that. Mine has approx. 5k payload (2015 Artic Fox 29-5T 10,876 UVW, 15,700 GVWR)I immediately replaced tires on fifth wheel when I purchased to Maxxis tires (They weigh 8lbs. more each than OEM Marathons). Also, I upgraded OEM tires for my(2005 2500HD Duramax) and installed air bags. Upgrading all the tires and adding air bags makes a huge difference. Just my thoughts
