My 2008 Wildcat 32QBBS had 15's and was 34 foot long. Never had an issue in the 6 years I owned it. - 2008WildcatExplorerShould have gone with 20's.....
- Me_AgainExplorer IIII went again and looked again. The placard does list LRE. But 15" wheels on a 30' 5th wheel? Chris

Guess they never have stopped by here to read about all the TowMax tire failures "over to years"! Sounds like another new round of marketing similar to Carlisle's.

MM49 - 2008WildcatExplorerProbably new "partnership" with Prime Time.
PT most likely signed an agreement to use Tredit exclusively for their tires, while most MFGS use whoever is cheapest.
On a side note, Grand Design just added Goodyear G614 tire upgrades to their Solitude options... - Tireman9Explorer

Same as everyone else....
Roadside assistance, etc is not specific to Prime Time, but is all Forest River products.
The 5 year warranty is through the tire mfg, so again, nothing new. Towmax tires are used on at least 50% of the towable rv's made. They have always had a limited 5 year warranty.
From many of the comments on "blowmax" as some call them, it appears that few know of the 5 year warranty.
Wonder why they are calling these items "new benefits". - 2008WildcatExplorerSame as everyone else....

I think he may have a case to ask for new LRE tires. Chris
Or better yet say he will not buy an unsafe RV so either the dealer changes to LR-E or he will find a dealer that doesn't just sell "bling"
If dealer claims the tires are OK then ask for a 3 year tire warranty in writing from the dealer. If he won't put that in writing then obviously he doesn't believe the application is really safe.
Note Primetime RV and Tredit are offering 5 year warranty on the tires.
Tireman9, isn't the placard suppose to list the OEM tires correctly. If I saw LRD on the placard would it have OEM LRE tires installed?
Chris
Yes, That is my understanding of the law. If the dealer made the change before sale the dealer should have changed the placard. If however the change was made after sale at the direction of the owner then I do not think the dealer is responsible to change the placard. - Tireman9Explorer

Don't know where you saw a 5 year warranty on tires from Prime Time...
I've been selling them for the 5 years they have been in business, and there is no such warranty.
If they were, it should be front and center on their website, since no one else does anything like a tire warranty after the first year. All tire warranties are through the tire companies, not the RV manufacturers.
Just saw This Announcement from a couple weeks ago.
