We sold the Weekend Warrior SLC3505 last week and yesterday we bought a 2007 Arctic Fox 1150 Silver Fox Edition for $6500 (too good of a deal to pass up), so no more camper payments. It has all of the options available for that year. The owner is giving us the Super Hitch extension, the HappiJac tiedowns from his truck, and the portable satellite he bought. The SuperHitch receiver won't fit our truck, so we have to find one of those. We found some dampness in the front cabinet(over 6" rain in last week), but the paneling and filon are solid and haven't separated, so we are thinking we should be able to seal the outside really good and it will dry out and be okay. Planning to put Eternabond over all of the seams, use dicor or that rope caulk stuff on anything else. We think we did okay for a used camper - the guy was only interested in keeping the truck (we already have a dually) and was willing to deal on the camper. When we were going through the camper, we found a file folder with all of the owner manuals and repair orders for the camper. We will be the 4th owner. The camper was originally in Texas, but is now in Ohio. The guy we bought it from had it for 1 1/2 years. It looks like the truck (145,000 miles with no rust) is the original truck for this camper and has followed the camper throughout its life until now.
