I've used the Firestone Transforce H/T on trailer with excellent service but haven't used them on a tow vehicle.
Having five trucks on the road with 16" truck tires I was never a tire brand person.
Most of my tire issues were with Goodyear tires.......but I wouldn't say they were junk. Probably several million Goodyear LT on the road and no issues. I'm looking to put a set of Goodyear Duratrac MT on the wifes 1500 4x4 chevy truck this fall.
I use mostly Cooper/BFG/Michelin/Bridgestone brand tires on my trucks.
IMO whats more important is the right tread type for the job you need the truck to do.
