This is something I just started looking at when the wife pulls up a possible contender, what is accessible when the slides are in.
rhagfo, I have seen your model both ways w/fridge on the opposite wall but still like the room on the rear kitchen.

Here is one thing that is goofy about a lot of RV's
Inability to USE facilities (kitchen, bathroom, bed) UNLESS slides are extended.
We have a mid kitchen ---with slides IN we can still open fridge, use stove top & sink, fully use bathroom and still climb in bed to sleep.
Folks always see models with slides out.....but what happens when they are retracted>?
Not an issue if you NEVER just stop for a quick lunch break, or a late over-nighter etc.
Yes, DW wanted more than 10" of counter-top! The RK mid entry is great as Kitchen is just that the Kitchen , no traffic like with a rear entry. Tons of counter space and for us a great layout.
That said, when the slide is in the table is about 4" from the sink peninsula, which means either climbing over, or putting out the slide. Like I stated before that non access is not an issue to us. I know for some it is a deal breaker.
