This is directed more towards the part-time travelers rather than full-time due to usage, but I look forward to reading everyone's input. I'm curious how long everyone has their 5th wheel before upgrading. I know some people that change vehicles like underwear and just wondered if trailer life is the same.

We bought our first Starcraft popup used and kept it for 12 years.

Our Weekend Warrior was new and we kept it for 12 years too.

We love our new mobile mansion and hopefully it will last even longer.

We have 1983 Regalette we bought used in 1987. Still have it and plan on keeping it. Used every year for a 2 to 4 week vacation.

Our 1st 5er was a Dutchman. We kept it for two miserable years. What a POS.

Bought our current trailer new in September of 2002. I don't plan on upgrading although we are considering doing some updating inside.

1999 hybrid bought used 5 years ago in excellent condition. I plan on keeping it a few more years. Tent ends are in great shape except a few small rips in the screens from the kids. Floor has a soft spot near door, but I added extra reinforcement underneath to buy a few more years.

I've owned my '04 for 9 years. Have no plans or need to upgrade at this point as it serves our needs and is still solid. Newer bells and whistles are nice, but I've added and modified to meet what we want.

We owned an Amazing 2015 Flagstaff 21DS pull be hind camper from Colleman Camper Springfield IL for a little over a year before trading for a Coleman 3015BH from a Camper World. The Flagstaff is built ten times better and was just what I wanted in a longer camper. The price was the issue and we found out later after the trade we could have ended up just as well with a 30' Flagstaff just with a little more research. ๐Ÿ˜ž We are all human and make mistakes. But you don't really know everything about the Company and equipment till you buy! Sales people just want money for the most part. And if you call Flagstaff for help they answer your questions, Coleman you get a girl that does not! At Coleman you don't ever get to talk to a tech either!
Best regards!

Our first trailer was a pop-up, we got because we were tired of tent camping. The pop-up wasn't much better, still a tent to put away wet. We sold it after three years, and got a 29' Mallard bunk tag behind, no slides. Once the kids stopped camping with us, we didn't use it much, because it was cramped and uncomfortable. We had that for 13 years. Then we got our current 5er in sig. We have one more camping trip this year, a Halloween campout, and we will end our sixth camping season with it. It will be 11100 miles towed, 186 nights, and 48 camping trips. We already have one trip reserved next fall, for three weeks in the Traverse City, Michigan area, for leaf change.

Our first 5er was 30 years old by the time we "upgraded". Our current 5er is 12 years old and we hope it will continue to be enjoyed for the rest of our campin' lifestyle.
