- Us_out_WestExplorerFinally added water softener today.
- sure2rainExplorerX2 for the RV 10,000. I like the fact that it uses regular salt for the regeneration.
- NolanExplorerWe were going to go with a Culligan water softener that is brought in for a month and then they bring in another one a month later. Was a good price and we only planned on doing this for five months. I asked being we have never used one in our trailer for eleven years would we run into any problems of clogging up connections and was told "yes." Decided it was best to pass on it.
- TXicemanExplorer IIRV 10000. Been doing a good job. If the water is really hard, we may regenerate every 10 to 14 days.
Ken - DustytuuExplorerWe have the larger portable "on the go" water softener. Works for us. If you have a washer/dryer and dishwasher you need the larger softener.
Can use ordinary table salt to recharge it. - rockintomExplorerTravelsoft R3200 by Frako. Used it FT for 10 years. Works very good.
- GsportExplorerOn-the-go 16,000 so I don't have to regen it so often
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIOn-The-GO 8000 grain portable water softener.
2 adults full time use in So Cal, AZ, NM, TX, Southern UT.
10-14 days between regens.
Had it for 8 yrs. No hard water spots on shower door, scaling on faucets, inside water heater and OK for drinking BUT coffee non-dairy creamer doesn't dissolve as easily (kinda clumps up) - 2oldmanExplorer II
- Jim-LindaExplorer IIWe used a RO system when we were in Yuma years ago. All of the water suppliers there have hardware.
