Whats Your Real Weights? Truck and Trailer. The Real Deal

I don’t know if it’s been done before or not but I was thinking about keeping a running list of real truck weights by year and type, and trailer weights by brand, size and what the total combined weig...

What I have figured out is the truck by itself weighs 5800 prior to the fifth wheel. Once i hook up the trailer the steer weight increases to around 6400. The trailer from what I can see weighs 7800. I am confused as well. They were not helpful at flying J. So if you add 7800 for the trailer and 6400 for the truck and pin weight it should total around 14200. This is all the help I can provide.
