The B&W OEM For Ford is rated at 20k.
The B&W for Ram OEM has a much higher rating for some reason.
Thanks!

Because B&W probably feels Fords puck system will only rate at 20K. The footprint is very small on the Ford compared to RAM's puck systems footprint. I am sure Fords "new" truck when it comes out will have a bigger footprint for it's puck system.
I have the same thoughts, the wider footprint make all the difference...
But then... Reese makes a 25 k trailer weight with around 6k lb tongue weight fiver hitch for this under bed rail system.
Thanks!!
My point is B&W is always conservative with their ratings. Not so much with some other hitches.
