You Guys recommending the B&W hitch all have issues and think it's the only hitch on the planet!;)

I have the Ram 20K hitch that fits the pucks (dealer threw it in on the truck deal), which is a rebadged Curt hitch. I like it a lot. You would like it even better having an 8' box (I really need a slider with my short box).

We have a Hensley BD3 TrailerSaver - "the name says it all".

If you plan to put some miles on the Trailer Saver BD3-Air-Ride-Hitch does a great job, but it is pricey.

I really like the B&W options (we have the turn-over ball on our farm trucks); but having an air hitch is really nice.

I put an AirSafe on the HDT and it is very slick. On a pickup getting some cushion between the pickup and the 5er would be a plus.

But the B&W is nice in that you have a clean bed when not pulling.

Or you can use the B&W Companion with the TrailAir tri-glide pin box extension like our 5th wheel and get the best of both worlds.
