Whisper Air versus a unit with dumps

We have loved having our Keystone Laredo with two a/c's and camping in Texas in the August/September -- it's worked great for keeping us cool even when it's over 100 degrees outside. Now we are looking at getting our next trailer -- we can get another Laredo, put the 2nd a/c on it, and know we'll be happy with how cool it keeps us. The wife is looking at some of the extras on the Alpine (liking the extra cabinet space, countertop space, and convection oven). We stepped in one last week and thought it seemed like the whisper air system wasn't cooling as effectively as the two units with dumps on them. Does anyone have a rig with the whisper air that can compare it with having had two units with dumps and how the whisper air cools the rig down in hot weather?

Thanks!
  • Our Landmark has the whisper quiet and our last rig had dumps. Whisper quiet does a great job of cooling rig, more comfortable as temp seems to be even through rig and not cooler around the dumps. Big difference in noise level with AC's running now verses dumps which were a lot louder. AC's don't seem to run as much but could be to better insulation even though this rig is a dark full body paint verses last rig which was white gel coat.
  • Our Keystone Fusion Impact toyhauler has two dump ac's, one in the master bedroom and the other in the garage. We are on our maiden voyage with this new FW; but so far the ac is excellent. Both ac's appear to be hooked up to same duct work. It works out well when we have both on; the living room cools rapidly. When we run only one once the trailer is cool, it keeps the whole trailer cool. Our previous toyhauler was a bear to cool; but it only had once dump ac in the living room. It was ducted; be we had to keep the living room door to the garage closed.
