Winterizing 2016 Attitude 32sag

Just getting ready to winterize the new unit and can't find the water heater bypass. Do I have to remove the panel under the sink?
Thanks Dwight
  • The water heater bypass will be on the back/inside of the water heater. You can find two or three valves. Lower valve is cold water into heater, and you turn it off. Valve on line between lower and upper line is by pass, and you turn it on. You could have a valve on the upper line which is the hot water out line or there could be a check valve. If you have an upper valve turn it off.
Remove rain plug from outside which will be at bottom of tank, and open pressure relief At top of tank. Now you can pump RV antifreeze into lines. I always start with the how water faucet farthest from the pump, and run till I see pink. Then work back to pump. Don't For get outside shower if you have one, toilet and shower at tub. I also turn lower valve to hot heater for a few seconds too. Then pour into all sink traps and toilet bowel
