Your favorite space heater?

Marley Fahrenheat 4000 Watt 13,600 BTU 220 volt heater

Not many folks are willing to do the necessary wiring to use this heater but you won't be cold. 20 degrees is the coldest we've seen as we don't venture North much during the winter months but we stayed above 72 with no problems.

I'll admit it's not pretty or sleek but if you just want heat this is the answer

seeing as our unit is a bunkhouse, I want to be able to heat up the rear bunk area with the door closed so the kids can sleep while we're till up.

I ordered a few lower wattage units, we'll see how they work.

Suggest anyone considering the system watch (the mfgr - "Cheap Heat") videos on YouTube.

Several ambiguous claims for the benefits - and of course Cheap Heat isn't going to include any negatives.

The cost (see: "Can you install it yourself?") is also a major factor.

Me saying CheapHeat is well worth it has nothing to do with $$$. It simply works great. I don't have to fill propane tanks and a nice benefit is I don't have to keep tripping over and buying space heaters.

Bottom line it will never pay for its self but I can afford it and is WELL worth it to ME!

I purchased a refurbished Dyson combo fan/heater on Groupon for about $45.00. Works great for both usages

It seems that I am one of the few who uses a Delonghi Micathermic Heater to heat our camper. It is fanless, quiet, doesn't overheat, about the size of an RV TV, and in fact we have it mounted on the wall in our bedroom where our Television is supposed to go.(or you can have it on the floor with the standup feet attached.) We use it on the low setting and sleep comfortably.

They are a bit pricey at Amazon, but we paid $20 at another store having a closeout sale. Have used it for about 3 years now with no problems. It doesn't heat fast, but kind of like the radiator heaters in that it takes a long time to heat the place up, but then holds it there pretty well. It has a thermostat, so you can adjust what temperature you want it to hold.
