I just bought a forest river grey wolf. They come prewired for zamp solar panels. Any body using these? Especially the portable folding ones, or should I look at others. Not sure if i gonna go with 2 batteries or 4 yet thanks

Read Handy Bob's Solar Blog then set your camper up from his point of view and you should be good to go.

Hopefully the Solar Guru's will elaborate on your posting.

JMO, I'd go with the 4-GC batteries & 200 + solar.

Pianotuna amongst others has a formula for balancing the panels output, batteries & contoller as a complete system.

I have a 160W ZAMP solar pre-installed on my Eclipse Attitude Toyhauler. I had an issue with the original controller that was overcharging my batteries. ZAMP replaced it no questions asked with an updated version of the controller and my batteries (dual 6V) seem really happy with this setup. No complaints so far.

Check out Renogy as they offer portable suitcase unit and are a bit less expensive for the same quality unit. I checked Zamp, Renogy and Go-Power before purchasing my portable solar. Wiring should not be an issue.
