A Few Questions

Looking over the various lightweight TTs (F-150 truck) I see the fridges are quite small (8 cu ft). How does a family of 3 get by on such a small fridge? We like the idea of having an outdoor kitchen too, but I almost feel it maditory for the extra fridge! Does anyone have an extra fridge inside?

I've always liked the idea of reducing the electric bill, but it seems quite costly to go full solar/wind. Is there much of a point in any amount of input? I figure enough to power the fridges, water pumps, and some lights is a very good thing in case of a power outage. I'd certainly love to power the A/C, but that just doesn't seem reasonable. How does a typical electric bill compare to an average house? I can see them charging a premium making the expense of solar worthwhile.

I can't seem to find any real info on sewer hookups for full timers. Is this a hookup at your personal site or one for people to take turns at for the whole facility? Is having a larger grey tank worthwhile if it takes from the waste water capacity?

How do you store seasonal stuff such as winter clothes vs summer? As is it appears as though you might hold a weeks worth of clothing each. I've seen some people with storage sheds.

Toys and books for the kid? We are figuring on a bunkhouse setup and reworking one for kid storage. Anyone do such a thing? Looking for ideas...

Has anyone added a door to a bunkhouse? If our kid can hear even a whisper she won't go to sleep.

Two A/Cs has to be better than one, especially if one goes out, right?

I've read that water leaks (roof/windows) are the biggest nightmare and more common issue. Carport? I figure this might help in the summer and would be a write off as far as leaving it behind.

So far I'm eyeing the Keystone Outback 255 UBH and Passport 2670 BH.

The outdoor cook area seems to come with a gas range. I can't seem to find out if it's possible to swap that out for a gas grill. Anyone know?
