- RoadXYZExplorer IIWe have a UPS Box at our home base ; and a US Postal Service box at our winter site ... makes it nice as we can have the UPS send our forwarded mail to the USPS mail box ... as long as we keep the present schedule that is ...
- DuctapeExplorerThink about domicile in a less expensive state if you haven't already considered that.
- Lexicon7ExplorerI've had it with medical bills. Unless I have a catastrophic, I'm going natural herbal remedies and so far doing well. No more big pharma **** for now...

What drives me nuts is medical billing when away from my home provider. That's still on paper, and only paper, so I ask to pay at the desk (if applicable) before I leave. That doesn't always work as labs have their own paper billing.
When I think about my priorities in the area of USPS, what always comes up is truck registration once a year and making sure I get it so I can drive.
You can't get email billing even if you ask for it. At least I can't. - Lexicon7Explorer

The best way to handle it is to avoid it. Do as much as humanly possible online.
I like it! When I think about my priorities in the area of USPS, what always comes up is truck registration once a year and making sure I get it so I can drive. Exponentially important for full timers say no more... So it would be Registration services, insurance services and possibly communication services. That makes very good sense!!! - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIThe 7 yrs we FTd we used a ;Mail Forwarding Service' that was recognized as a true legal physical address for or DLs, Registrations, Voting, Ins, etc.
WHEN we wanted it forwarded we sent an e-mail request to have mail sent via USPS Priority Mail to XXXX address and within 3 days we always had it.
Mail was sent to CG we were at/going to be at (if they accepted visitors mail)
OR Mail was sent 'General Delivery' to a Local Post Office that accepted GD Mail (Not All PO Branches do---usually just Main PO)
Mail Forwarding Services are in the business of accepting/forwarding clients mail.
Some businesses (Investment Co., Banking Institutes etc) don't recognize ANY place that forwards mail.....then you need to have a family member/friends address for them. - soosExplorer IIalso depends on the state. Michigan flags UPS stores as a commercial address and will cancel drivers license if thats the address you use for your license.
Long term, UPS was much pricier than Escapees and other services like them. - path1Explorer

I'm hearing a UPS Post Box at the UPS Store is one of the best for getting mail forwarding and such. Anyone have anything to add?
Each is a franchise. So it depends on the owners and how good of job they do. We moved from a downtown location to one closer to our house. Great people but very bad service. Language problem. They agree to everything over the phone. Then hang up the phone and move on to next call. 3 times in last 4 months they said they forward the mail when we called but didn't. So as most everything, else it depends on who is actually doing the work.
Don't forget to change addresses you don't think about everyday. We pay insurance yearly and got call couple weeks ago that their notice came back to them. AAA road service and couple others slipped by us that USPS forwarding had expired.
Do as much as you can on line but there is still a few things that are hard to get away from the mail. Maybe someday. - 2oldmanExplorer IIMail forwarding posts
