Changing Dr Lic and address question

We are about ready to hit the road! We've sold our house and bought our travel trailer. We have a question for the FT Rvers. Of course, our drivers license and registrations all have our old house address. Looking for suggestions on what we do next. We will be using our kid's address for mail and such. Should we just leave our drivers license the same or change it the new address. I know we have to have verification for DMV and don't really have anything except mail. Any suggestions for us?
Thanks, Nick

DH tags the 5er, TV and his DL in a tax friendly state. We use our DD's address for my DL and some of the bills. Internet, Satellite, cell phones only because the state charges outrageous fees/taxes on our bill.

A few years ago, we changed the satellite location different than billing to get local stations. Now we get to pay higher taxes in some states (NC) just to have the privilege of seeing the local advertisements.

Three main states for fulltimers - Florida, South Dakota, and Texas - all have no state income tax, low registration fees, ease for becoming residents, and good mail forwarding services. Lots of other questions go into determining which state is right for you.

We use our kids address as permanant address. When we are in AZ for the winter I put in a Temp change of address with the post office for the two of us. I put a stop date when we are leaving. The post office is good about forwarding mail. I did address change by internet for divers license etc. Each state is differant. This works well for us. Welcome to the fulltime life.

If your changing licences, tags, voting registration to sons/daughters address you should have no problem. I've never had a change of address in state questioned at the DMV. It's not like moving to new state and if questioned just say your moving in with the kids to help out.
