Also if you are and Eagles member they have RV parking in Spokane. Close by is Post Falls, ID. and Coeur d laine, ID. Just both a short ride to Spokane. Several parks in the area. Also, again the Eagles has RV parking in Hayden and the CDA Elks Lodge has an RV park if you are a member.

You might consider volunteering at state or national parks. My experience has been working 4 days a week (32 hours) and three days off in a row. They give you full hookups in exchange. I loved it.

I have been all over paying anywhere from 190 to 7:20 a month.

It all depends on where you want to go. I spent $1,075 for the month of December in Florida near Sarasota.

Most campgrounds will quote you a weekly or monthly rate. It also depends on WHEN you want to go, as well. Rates are lower in the off season. Campgrounds near places like Yellowstone will charge more during the summer - when everybody and their kid brother are looking for spots - than they will when demand is lower. Florida is insanely high when the snowbirds hit town, and lower during the heat and humidity of summer.

Longer term stays are problems.

We volunteered with the US Army Corps of Engineers for six months in Thomaston, CT. Simply no other way for us to be able to afford a summer near my sister's oldest brother. A nice FHU spot with great internet. But we had to work every weekend from mid-April to mid-Oct.

A commercial CG less than a quarter mile from our very private spot, behind two locked gates to which we had a key, charged $1,000 per month, plus electricity, but to get that 'low' rate, required a five month seasonal contract.

It is going to take some research, and phone calls to find a good place for over a month.

After six, almost seven, years full-time, our best longer stays have been when we volunteered. Some positions can be for only a month or two, some for a season.

Call me carzy but if I can't budget $150 per day I'm not full timing.
