We used National Interstate for 7 yrs FT.
Complete home owners style policy PLUS.
They specialize in RV coverage and FTrs
2 claims during that 7yrs. 1 minor/1 major----both handled quickly, efficiently with follow ups and no hassles. No increase in premiums.

Heard good things about Bluesky also

I had National Interstate for years. No claims. They kept raising my rates significantly each year and finally just got too expensive for us.

I went through Miller RV Insurance.

They aren't tied to any insurer which gives you lots of options.

I'd also suggest a Personal Liability (or "umbrella") policy since you're selling your house.

We used SD as Domicile---looked into changing our address to TX.

National Interstate asked if we were sure we wanted to do that.
WHY?
Insurance rate TX vs SD--------doubled on truck and 50% increase on 5vr.

Are you keeping TX residency?

X3 on what USMC46 said, we had National Interstate for 6 years, then a significant rate increase. We signed up with Blue Sky 2 years ago, no claims with either.

just start calling around. will you keep your home? if may effect your rates if you are not living in it.

national is what we use.

We found Farmer's for our RV for fulltime....have had State Farm for our auto's for 35 years, but no coverage for full time RVer's. I don't know about cheap rate....ours is 700.00 a year. It's our first year, so nothing to compare with....:)

Except when we had National Interstate IN TX and the price went up, we shopped around and got a significantly lower price- and we were still in TX so that reason didn't hold true for us.

We domicile in SD.

We have had National Interstate on the truck and trailer for over ten years. Full replacement on the trailer. Use to have it on the truck, but the price went up to high on it do to its age on full replacement. We dropped that on the truck and it's even below what it was before the raise. Have had a two claims. Taken care of right away.

Now the car was on National Interstate that went up too. Switched to Progressive and have been very happy with them. Have had some glass chips on the windshield from flying rocks and those were filled, no deductible on glass.

EDIT: One other thing if we change companies on the truck and trailer we will lose the total replacement on the trailer.

I do agree with Tech Writer. Get an umbrella policy.
