Future full time plan I'm motion

I would suggest immediately moving into the smallest apartment you can find, but don't give up your present location. Try it for a month to see if everyone can find a place and it doesn't drive you crazy. Pick a time when the weather is terrible outside. Give us a full report back.

We will be starting a remodel this spring . We could pack everyone and the kitchen into our living room and that will simulate the small living space of a tt ...

My wife and I have full-timed in a 43' 5ver for close to 3 years. It works well for us, but I cannot imagine 7 people crammed together. Mike and Carole made a great suggestion, because there will be times when the weather is crappy and you'll be cooped up for several days at a time.

I understand there is a forum for full-time families, but not sure where. You might search for it as I'm sure some love the closeness. We wouldn't, but we're retired and our kids are grown. Good luck!

We haven't bought a rig yet . I've been researching and we're a year out from even making a purchase . It will have to be a tt, because we need so many seat belts . We currently have an E350 15 passenger gasser van , But before going full time I'll either do an engine swap and put a 6 liter power stroke in it or buy an old ambulance with the power stroke in it just for mountain torque . Size of rv ... at least 33 foot bunkhouse ... Probly bigger though .

Enjoy yourself and ignore the old coots that couldn't imagine traveling with kids FT. We did it 8 years and may go back to it in the next 6 months or so. Just figuring out or next plan.

I couldn't imagine that many people in one house. I have 9 siblings and we grew up with one bathroom. It was hell with 12 people in the house. That's probably why all of us have 2 children or less and some none.

I don't think it would be healthy either physically or psychologically.

By the time we go full time the 5 younger ones will be 13 , 10 , 8, 7 , and 5 . Most likely they will be the only ones going full time . We're planning on a bunkhouse to sleep 10 ... I know it'll be tight ... but ... we will see where God takes us . He will always provide . Even sanity .

Thank you ! I'm certain we can do this . I'm certain it will bring us closer to each other and more Importantly ... to God . Just trying to get the best education and plan as much in advance as we can . I know th I nus will happen and they will change once out there . That's the beauty of it all though . We can change the plan as we go !!
