Thx! I though of that, too, but didn't know how far the recliners would stick out toward the sink protrusion. I guess that is the ONLY possible arrangement for this FP.
Aha! I just had another thought! while we are staying at home for a year...we COULD put a table for the TV on the opposite wall from where it is and put the sofa or recliners with their back to the current EC and that would keep the seating farther away from the sink! That might work!
You do realize you're only talking a couple of feet, right ?
