Lightweight mattress?
I currently have a verrrry cheap mattress under a super cushy foam topper and I love it. So I've concluded the topper is the key. What I need is a mattress to support it that is nice and light -- and non-toxic. Any suggestions? Currently in Phoenix.
Found a few other closed threads on this forum on the subject of organic/green mattresses and I have to say they hit a new low for this place for ignorance/hostility. I've been sick much of my life due to environmental toxins. It started with mercury poisoning (diagnosed) which led to a body that registers toxic burdens in a way many do not. Actually, there are noticable consequences for most people but the don't know it, don't have the experience to connect the dots. It's astounding the lengths to which people will go to defend chemical-fest of modern living. They understand that tobacco patches work but don't think twice about the dryer sheets containing a dozen or so chemicals which are known carcinogens. They sit and soak in bromine and chlorine treated pools and have no idea the degree to which those elements are blocking mineral uptake to their bones and joints, never mind the havoc they create on every other front in the body (hormones, prostate...you name it) then they wonder why their knee won't heal. Probably the same reason your nails and skin are peeling and your hair has turned to hay. I've been through all the circles of hell with these health issues so please just help if you can and move on if you can't.
